I just had Hallava Falafel when it was parked at Barnes & Noble in Bellevue. I got the Shawarma sandwich. It was a wrap-style sandwich, served in a pocketless pita - stuffed with veggies (beet, spinach, cabbage) and shawarma (seasoned lamb/beef)... then topped with tzatziki. Overall, it was the perfect lunch for me - not too heavy, not too small. The shawarma was pretty good. The pita was like... perfect - just the right thickness. The veggies inside were fine. The tzatziki sauce was really good. Overall, it was a solid sandwich - it was a bit messy (it was stuffed to the brim), but it was served in a paper wrapping that helped. They have some sriracha available - and I kind-of wish I'd put some on. That would have made it slightly better. Service was super fast. Maybe it was too fast - the sandwich was good, but could have been elevated if the meat was fresh and hot, and the pita was delightfully warm. Price was good ($10). They were also selling a falafel sandwich (same as what I got, just with falafel instead of shawarma) and some fries (served with tzatziki and hummus for dipping).

I got a shawarma sandwich and garlic fries for lunch from their food truck one day, and both were delicious. The shawarma is lamb and cow married with tzatzaki, lettuce, and their special spices wrapped in a pita. Before I ate it, I was leery of the $10 price tag, but I would pay that again. The bread was thick, hot and perfect for holding the innards. The meat was seasoned just right. The garlic fries were a large portion! And talk about garlic! Lots of it, served with two sauces, hummus and tzatzaki sauce. The hummus had a strong healthy dose of garlic as well. I probably killed ten vampires within a 100 yard radius wherever I walked that day. The gal that took my order also handed it to me out the window. She was polite and efficient. I found their food truck at Occidental Square. I don't know how often they frequent this location. Food: 5 Service: 5

I stopped by this food truck today in Occidental Park in Pioneer Square with my coworker for a workday lunch out. We went around 1:15 pm and there was no line, pretty sure they closed shop at 2 pm. We ordered: - feta fries - salad - schwarma sandwich - squirt soda I enjoyed my sandwich and the fries were nice and crispy loaded with some yummy toppings. I am a ketchup fiend though and the truck didn't have any. Kinda expected it since it was a falafal truck, but the girl can always ask lol. Overall the service was really good and the guys in the truck were very nice. Typical downtown priced lunch though, sandwich + soda was $13.
